A scattering of smaller art and design projects.

tl;dr: I have too many ideas for small projects, here are just a few of them that actually saw the light of day. RIP to the many projects I only finished halfway.

After getting a new laptop at work, I needed a fun (but simple) way to differentiate it from the other thousands of silver laptops sitting around the office. Instead of covering my laptop with random stickers (as I usually do with all of my belongings), I designed a special sticker set for a more cohesive look.

The Women@ Facebook group organized the Maternal Instinct event to bring together women all over the company for an open discussion about career, family planning, and work culture. I led all the event design and branding for Maternal Instincts, which included a fun brief for custom chocolate packaging.

After using washi tape to wrap dozens of gifts and decorate literally everything in my room, I decided I had to make my own! “Washi” is traditional Japanese paper, and washi tape is a versatile way to add some extra flair to a journal, a package, or basically anything. I designed two different patterns: One is “Royal Cat,” an intricate geometric gradient with a hidden cat (can you spot it in the pictures?), and the other is “Pom Sweets,” which features my character Pom (a cute mushroom who loves snacks).

I love designing my own clothes for myself and for friends—here are a few examples of caps and shirts that I’ve made in the past.

Some fun magnet packaging I made, from the Month of Mushrooms illustrations.

I got deep into Animal Crossing at the start of 2020, and made upwards of a dozen Tamagotchi-inspired stickers, featuring my favorite Animal Crossing characters.

More Animal Crossing—I wanted a set of mugs with my favorite NPCs from Animal Crossing, Blathers and Celeste, and the Able sisters.
